American Public University System (System) now includes American Public University, American Military University, Rasmussen University, and Hondros College of Nursing. The System is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and is a wholly owned subsidiary of American Public Education, Inc. (APEI). Interim President, Hondros College of Nursing

David Kramer was named Interim President of Hondros College of Nursing in 2025, after serving more than 19 years in various leadership positions at the institution. Throughout his career at Hondros, Mr. Kramer has overseen key initiatives to open new campuses and programs, enhance operational efficiency, expand and strengthen academic programs, and improve student outcomes.
